3 November 2014: Legoland Windsor
Today, we’re running wild at Legoland Windsor. It’s open until today only before closing down for Winter. Gladly, the Halloween activities are still there. ‘Brick or treat’ for instance, where you can build your own Lego pumpkin for the pumpkin patch. Jack is eager to do it again (they have an annual pass and are here regularly) and I’m up for it as well. And very pleased with the result! I still know how it’s done! 🙂
Then, we go on several rides for smaller and bigger childs, such as one with huge Lego dinosaurs or in a submarine with lots of Lego as well as real fishes.
Distincting between Lego and real food isn’t that easy with lunch as well. 😉
I love the menu crocodile at the entrance. It really makes you want to eat here!
The shark needs a bite as well.
While Jack is playing on the big playground, we enjoy some calm minutes.
Miniland is well worth visiting! Cities and sights are built from Lego, London, for instance. Several objects are moving, cars, trains, change of the guards, and there are countless details to discover. The scenery looks a bit different each time. During our last visit, the Royal family stood on Buckingham Palace’s balcony after William and Kate’s wedding. Now, they’re celebrating baby George’s birthday in the back yard.
And there’s the big Lego store at the entrance with a huge variety on offer. Lego friends for girls are drawing quite a crowd. This is also the place Wyldstyle from the Lego Movie hangs around.
