Today we meet Clare, Sheridan and Amy at the Festival Place shopping centre in Basingstoke to do some shopping, but mainly to spend some time together. There are some great furniture stores, clothes shops and more. I find several Back to the Future items in the “Cool” shop. And for the first time, I see film posters on canvas frames. That’s a great idea!

We stop off at a Korean restaurant for lunch, where Gabi and I share a fried chicken and bubble waffle. Because our morning meal wasn’t that long ago. Then we stroll through the shopping centre and find two great Christmas jumpers at Primark.

After an afternoon snack, we say goodbye to Clare, Sheridan and Amy again. On the way home, we charge LucY’s battery so that the car is ready for tomorrow: we leave Fleet and drive back to London for the rest of our holidays.

We have a craving for pizza for dinner. And eat the cinnamon sticks with sugar dip while watching the latest episode of The Great British Bake Off. Five contestants are still in the running, with four left at the end. No spoilers.
