27 May 2017: Buying things at Bluewater
Today, we drive over to Bluewater, one of Europe’s largest shopping centres. Which we visit almost every time we’re in the UK. In spite of being a Saturday, it’s not that crowded.
As always, we start our tour in the Lego store. They always have the latest sets on display. I’ve seen the carousel in the recent newsletter. It’s really pretty, but the fabric roof fails to convince me.
We have never eaten at the Bluewater Yo! Sushi before but we like to watch all the little plates with Sushi and other Asian delicousness go by on the conveyor belt. The amount of food on tour is unbelievable!
Watching all the sushi drive by makes us hungry. We complete the upper floor and then have lunch at Wahaca where we compose a nice selection of Mexican tapas.
In the afternoon, we’re hitting the lower floor shops. And enjoy some rays of sunshine in the outdoor area. Which is gaining more and more attractions each time we visit, I’d say. I have never seen (or at least not noticed) the adventure miniature golf.
We arrive back at the hotel rather late and grab a burger from the hotel’s restaurant before going to bed.
