We meet Caroline in Guildford for a mid-morning snack. There’s a new branch of our favourite Hummingbird Bakery that needs to be tested. Sitting in a café having a cupcake is also the best you can do as it pours down with rain. Gabi has a red velvet cupcake, Caroline a glazed brownie, and I go for a raspberry cheesecake brownie. Wow, that’s rich!!

We later want to look at stores but Gabi doesn’t feel very well. Considering the weather, we drive back to the hotel and have a nap and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. She feels much better later, also thanks to the medication Caroline got for her. 🙂

In the evening, we meet Caroline, Peter and Jack for dinner and a very funny evening. It’s a pity that we have to say goodbye to them already. Tomorrow, we leave Aldershot and continue our journey westbound.
