Our time in London has come to an end for the time being. Today, we’re travelling west to visit our friend and her dog Mickey in Taunton. On the way, we stop at a service station to charge LucY at a Tesla Supercharger. And we are amazed: there is a large solar farm right next to the service station, which hopefully provides sustainable electricity for the charging station. So environmentally friendly, so forward-looking. Super!

We have dinner together and spend a lovely evening with our friend. Of course, we are particularly happy that the nervous dog Micky remembers his Swiss friends. He seems quite relaxed, but just waits a little longer before eating. Because of course he has to keep a close eye on everything that is suddenly going on in his house. And we love all the new things to discover like Halloween Stitch or a crochet Grogu.

Back at the new hotel, we try out whether we can charge at the little charging pod located right next to the entrance. And sure enough, we plug in our charging cable, select the right charging point via the provider’s website, enter our credit card details and the electricity starts flowing. Every hotel should have this!
