Today we are staying in the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in east London, in which our hotel is situated. We start at the top of the three floors and work our way in an anti-clockwise direction. In between, I take the shopping back to the hotel room while the credit cards have time to calm down. No, of course it’s not that bad. A few more packs of crips and other groceries from the supermarket, socks, three nice shirts, that sort of thing (we only bought one thing seen in the photos below – can you guess which one?).

After half the shops, we take a lunch break. Gabi orders a naked burrito, i.e. the burrito ingredients in a bowl instead of a tortilla flatbread, and I get a sushi box from YO! Sushi. The small kiosk on the lower ground floor has the best selection of drinks in the entire shopping centre. I even find a jasmine peach Fanta there. Mmmmmh!

At 4.15 pm we are officially done shopping: we have visited all the shops and bought everything we want.

All that’s left to do is relax, pack and think about what we’d like to eat for our last night in England. Gabi has another craving for chicken pieces from Wingstop, with a different glaze and different dipping sauces, and I go for a ramen noodle soup, this time from a different restaurant.
