This morning we meet Caroline at the shopping centre in Basingstoke. We have a long shopping list for Primark, but can’t find a lot. I wanted plain clothes without logos for further embroidery projects, but don’t find many I like. And wow, these colours… the 90s are coming back again.

For lunch we were invited to Peter and Caroline’s house and enjoy lunch on the terrace. The weather really spoils us. Their cottage is simply gorgeous, and what a beautiful garden! Here, fox and hare literally say good night to each other.

In the late afternoon we go to the cinema again for the first time since the end of 2019 – wearing a mask. Gabi found a screening of the new Doctor Strange film with practically no people. It seems as if this subtitled showing is not very popular. So it’s only four other people, and we’re sitting far away from them on the VIP balcony. We then take some more succulent Nando’s to our hotel room.
