Today, we sleep in a little bit and then drive to Aldershot for the second to last stop of our trip. The weather is simply wonderful and we enjoy the breakfast/lunch break in the sun.

In Aldershot, we move into our hotel room, in which we have often stayed overnight. Then we want to go to the supermarket and do some grocery shopping. But the supermarket closes just as we arrive there. Apparently, the shops now close on Sunday at 4pm and not only at 5pm as before (and as it is still listed in the internet). So we drive more or less directly back to the hotel and make ourselves comfortable with the donuts we bought during the breakfast/lunch break.

After watching the latest “Doctor Who” episode on TV in the evening, we go to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. But because it is quite uncomfortable there, we decide to take the food with us to the room instead. Gabi orders chicken pieces in buffalo sauce with ranch dressing and a mixed side dish and I get a chicken breast smothered with cheese and bacon, and chips. Omnom!
