We’re up for some serious shopping again today! At Bluewater, one of Britain’s largest shopping centres.

We park the car near the Lego store and this is the first store we visit when we’re here. The new Lego sets are just adorable with all their attention to details: Big Ben clock tower with a bit of the House of Parliament, or the Disneyland castle. Also the new Lego Ideas sets where Lego fans suggest new sets. Sheldon and Leonard’s living room from The Big Bang Theory for example,  the Tardis from Doctor Who, or robot Wall-E.

There are lots of items to be discovered. Some more suitable for a daily use, some less. What do you think of these Turtles shoes? I think they’re great… to look at. Not sure if I’d wear them.

At Lakeland, most of the baking utensils are now bearing the face of Paul Hollywood or Mary Berry from The Great British Bake Off, my favourite baking show on telly. The latest series is on, every Wednesday evening on BBC One.

They have arranged their display according to the latest baking week: Botanical week, with machting flavours and recipes. I love it!

We stop for lunch at Five Guys. Their burgers are just the best! And the ones you just can’t eat in an orderly way. There’s something falling out or the sauce oozing all the time. It’s a one bite, one napkin meal.

A bit further down the mall, we watch a new batch of donuts being made. They only need to get filled and decorated now. We buy two of them for later.

We continue our shopping trip. And just can’t believe it: Gabi finds the ankle boots they said don’t exist in her size in London! And also a blouse she was looking for. That’s what we call a successful shopping trip!

Before driving back to the hotel, we visit Ed’s Easy Diner. Their milk shakes are just the best ones! And they’re even better if you get them for free! They generously sent me a voucher for a free milk shake for my birthday that we’re redeeming now. A double flavour with chocolate and peanut butter, that’s our favourite flavour cominbation.

We arrive back at the hotel shortly after eight and carry our bags to the room first. I then head out again to get a pizza for me and a bruschetta for Gabi.
