On the way from Canterbury to Birmingham, we have to drive around London. Which is bad. We got stuck in traffic jam after traffic jam due to constructions and accidents. We stop for petrol, toilets and some food – two Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

We then continue our journey through rainy weather and more traffic jams. In the end, it takes us six hours instead of three to get to Birmingham. We’re completely exhausted. After changing in the hotel quickly, we’re off again to meet the gals at PizzaExpress. Hungry as we are by now, I eat the whole Pizza (everyone who saw me eating Pizza knows that I never manage to eat a whole Pizza) while Gabi had some pasta. It’s a pity we had almost no space left for the delicious dough balls with Nutella for dessert.
