Oktober 2013: American Store und weitere L\u00e4den"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Heute ist leider schon der letzte Tag unserer Reise. Am Morgen schauen wir im American Store vorbei, der &ndash; wie der Name vermuten l\u00e4sst &ndash; amerikanische Lebensmittel im Sortiment hat, die in Europa sonst nicht erh\u00e4ltlich sind. Danach fahren wir zm Sainsbury&#8217;s Supermarkt. Im integrierten Starbucks will Gabi unbedingt den Pumpkin Spice Latte probieren und wir teilen uns einen Duffin, eine Kreuzung aus Donut und Muffin. Also in etwa ein Berliner mit etwas kompakterem Teig in Form eines Muffin.<\/p>\n<p>Nachdem wir uns mit weiteren Lebensmitteln f\u00fcr zu Hause eingedeckt haben, fahren wir ins nahe Farnham. Im ChimiChanga&#8217;s essen wir einen Tortilla-Burger, bei dem das Burgerpl\u00e4tzchen statt zwischen zwei Broth\u00e4lften im Tortilla-Fladen eingewickelt ist. Spannend!<\/p>\n<p>Am Nachmittag holt Caroline Jack von der Schule ab. Wir treffen beide im Squires Garden Center und verabschieden uns danach vom Kleinen. Caroline treffen wir zum Znacht noch einmal. Peter ist krank und bleibt zu Hause.
