Mai 2025: Ein Ted Lasso Tag in Richmond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ted Lasso ist eine Comedy-Serie auf der Streaming-Plattform Apple TV+ und gleichzeitig der Name des Hauptdarstellers. Der Amerikaner wird als Trainer der schw\u00e4chelnden englischen Fussball-Mannschaft AFC Richmond eingestellt. Doch er ist sich nur American Football gew\u00f6hnt, w\u00e4hrend hier europ\u00e4ischer Fussball gespielt wird. Trotzdem gelingt es Ted Lasso mit seinem unersch\u00fctterlichen Glauben ans Gute im Menschen, aus den einzelnen Spielern ein Team zu machen. Das ist eine Botschaft, die uns sehr gut gef\u00e4llt. So wurde Ted Lasso zur einzigen Sportsendung, die wir gerne und regelm\u00e4ssig geschaut haben. Leider f\u00fchlt sich Dan nicht wohl, so dass Clare alleine kommt. Wir haben noch ein bisschen Zeit. Gabi und ich entscheiden uns f\u00fcr den Sunday Roast \u2013 schliesslich ist heute Sonntag! Gabi bestellt ihn mit Roast Beef und ich mit Lammschulter, Clare einen Pork Pie mit Kartoffelstock. Ich versuche ein alkoholfreies Guiness-Bier, das Dan empfohlen hat. Alles ist einfach wunderbar! Das Fleisch ist so zart, dass es nur so vom Knochen f\u00e4llt. Die Kartoffeln sind aussen sch\u00f6n angebraten und innen weich. Wir schlendern der Themse entlang, wo heute richtig viel los ist. Denn der eigentliche Palast, in dem die K\u00f6nige Henry VII. und Henry VIII. und auch Queen Elizabeth I., residierten, wurde im 17. Jahrhundert abgerissen. Die Strecke f\u00fchrt uns einmal quer durch London. Dabei f\u00e4llt uns ein kleiner englischer Fiat 500 auf, bei dem neben der Autonummer ein CH-Aufkleber prangt. Speziell! Am Hyde Park Corner k\u00f6nnen wir nicht in die Mall abbiegen, die Strasse ist abgesperrt. So fahren wir halt nicht beim Buckingham Palace und dem Trafalgar Square vorbei, aber immerhin bei Big Ben. Im Parkhaus suchen wir unglaublich lange, bis wir endlich ein freies Parkfeld finden. Dann warten wir fast genauso lange darauf, dass endlich ein Lift kommt. In diesem Teil des Einkaufszentrums scheint nur noch einer von drei Liften zu funktionieren.
