It’s beautiful autumn weather again! We were really looking forward to today, because we see our good friends Peter and Caroline and their son Jack again, who celebrates his 10th birthday tomorrow. First we meet Caroline for a mid-morning snack before we visit Costco together. As before, we’re suprised and astonished by the things – and packages – you can get there, including huge plush bears at a surprisingly low price.

Then Caroline picks up Peter and Jack and we meet for lunch at Chiquito. Gabi and I share empanadas for starters and then eat jambalaya and a kind of chili tortilla lasagna. For dessert we share very delicious churros.

After lunch and a lot of laughing, we spend some time in the game arcade next door. Peter and Jack like to play video games together – and are really good at it!

It’s almost evening when we say goodbye. Gabi and I drive to the supermarket again, do our grocery shopping, and buy sandwiches and crips which we eat back at the hotel.
