Sunday 8 November 2015: Driving to Solihull
We start the day with a breakfast with Caroline, Peter and Jack at the nearby garden centre. They have a café with a great food offer, a large Christmas section, fishes and small pets. After breakfast, we say goodbye to them and head off in direction of Birmhingham.
On our journey north, we stop at Bicester Village, an outdoor outlet mall with all kind of fashion brands. People from asia seem to love it. We browse many stores but don’t buy anything in the end.
We have a very late lunch again at a service station Burger King. There’s a special burger with an additional crispy cheese patty. Yummy!
In the evening, we arrive at Solihull where we make ourselves comfortable in the hotel. Which means: Using the internet (we had a really crappy connection during the last two days), taking a shower (hot water but no water pressure at all) and eating a surprisingly delicious beef chili and mac & cheese in the room.
