As we do after every trip to England, we drive to Gabi’s mum’s to eat the donuts we brought with her and Gabi’s sister. This time we actually manage the whole pack! Which has become easier since Krispy Kreme changed from boxes of 12 to boxes of 9. The photos show before and after.

We did not only bring gifts for Gabi’s mum and sister, but also for Ben the dog: the English duck quacks quite authentically when you press on it. And like every trip, this one ends with the surprising realisation that we have bought quite a few things, even though we haven’t bought much at all.
