We spend all of today at the ‘Sherlocked’ Convention, after the BBC TV series ‘Sherl0ck’ with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. We meet again lots of good friends, make new ones, listen to talks between a host and actors of the show, get autographs and have photoshoots with people who contributed to the series. The two componists are especially friendly! They shake hands, introduce themselves and say: ‘We make the music!” LOL yes, we already knew that while queueing, but it’s wonderful how everyone involved is so proud of their work – and rightly so!

Many visitors come dressed as one the persons from the series, maybe even from a certain scene. For example, here’s Mycroft how Sherlock imagines him in his Mind Palace once, with a fat suit and Christmas pudding, eating himself to death.

Benedict’s parents play Sherlock’s parents. They’re actors as well. They regret that they didn’t get any instructions at all of how the parents should be portrayed. Probably everyone thought that they would just know.

In the evening, we’re completely knackered. And everyone else. We head to the closest pub to get something to eat and drink – sorry, no food porn this time – and enjoy ourselves very much. It’s such a fun group! Tomorrow, we’ll meet everyone again for another day of Sherl0cked.
